36 Crazyfists is a metal core band formed in Anchorage, Alaska, and later based in Portland, Oregon. The band’s name comes from the Jackie Chan film Jackie Chan and the 36 Crazy Fists. 36 Crazyfists formed in 1994 in Nikiski, Alaska. The original members were vocalist Brock Lindow, guitarists Steve Holt and Ryan Brownell, bassist JD Stuart, and drummer Thomas Noonan. Holt is from Kenai, and Lindow spent much of his childhood there. Lindow, Brownell, Stuart, and Noonan are all from Anchorage.
This is the brand new album of 36 Crazyfists. “Lanterns” is the name of this beauty and it comes with twelve songs. Each one of them is rough and filled with strong rhythms that will pull you along. The riffs are heavy and the vocals are sung rough and edgy. The music comes blasting right at you from the very first second until the very last. The metal core music of these Americans will blow your mind. That much is clear.
This is forty-three minutes of intense music. Harsh riffs and arrangements that will push you around. 36 Crazyfists created music that is hard to sit still to. So get up, turn up the volume and rock your mind out. “Lanterns” is out there waiting for you.
