I Prevail is a rock band from Michigan, USA. These guys have released their debut EP in 2014. Now, two years later, they finally released their debut album which is called “Lifelines”.
The debut album of I Prevail comes with thirteen songs. The music on “Lifelines” is catchy and will get you going along from the first second listening until the very last. Each song has an amazing balance between noisy intensity and calm melodies. The shouted and sung vocals take turns and add up to a perfect unison. Some of the songs remind of bands such as Bring Me The Horizon or A Day To Remember. The choruses are easy to memorize and the melodies will get you going along. Each song includes beautiful lyrics you should pay some attention to. I Prevail created an album you can relate to. Beautiful and touching. The album gets calmer throughout and ends with a heartbreaking ballad that will get you hooked at last, if none of the previous songs made sure of that.
The debut album “Lifelines” by I Prevail is an impressive rock album. Going towards metal core, the music is thriving and energetic. And it will not let go of you, even long after the last note has ceased. So go check it out. “Lifelines” is out now.
