Some members of the bands The Vision Bleak and Eisregen formed Ewigheim, but it should however be emphasized that it isn’t just a project but rather a band. So you will keep hearing about these guys and keep coming across the band Ewigheim. This is their brand new album which is going by the name of “Schlaflieder”.
The brand new album “Schlaflieder” by Ewigheim comes with eleven songs on the digipak edition, the regular version has two songs less. All lyrics are in German. Somewhere between medieval music and man choir, the music is swaying back and forth, swaying you to sleep and relaxation. The rhythms are very steady and calm. The music and vocals are smooth and do not have big changes in either pace nor volume, so you can absolutely calm down while listening. The German title “Schlaflieder” which means lullabies is very fitting. The lyrics are telling stories. Some are quite dark while others are very nice and bright. But each song is worth listening. One song has no title.
Ewigheim created a beautiful and calm album. Soothing melodies and sweet fairytales are taking your mind on a journey and brush off all the worries you might have.
