Second Youth started in 2015 between long time best friends and touring companions, Dick Smith and André Suergiu. After spending all night recalling all the bands they grew up on during the late late 90’s and early 00’s that introduced the two in the first place, the two decided to go to the studio and write the songs they always wish they had played when they were younger. Hence, the name, Second Youth. And now they released their debut EP.

The EP consists of a short three songs that last no more than nine minutes all together. But nice three songs for Second Youth to present their music. Fast and thriving music with a strong punk influence, accompanied with a smoky voice will get every punk heart urge for more. Filled with energy and passion this EP by Second Youth will get you going along. Going by within the blink of an eye, Second Youth leave you behind with the melodies and beats still playing in your mind. Each song has the entire band singing together for at least a bridge or even an entire chorus. That animates you to want singing and moving along to even more.

This EP with the single “Glass Roof” as opener definitely makes you curious for the band and what they have to offer. So stay tuned for what Second Youth still got coming.
