Uk Pychedellic/Progressive formation Blurred Vision is releasing a new album called “Organized Insanity”.
The album got quite some praise already and listening to it make you sooner than later realize that it has a whole lot of diversity in it. It opens a bit weak, maybe with the eye on a commercial success as well. Perhaps they need something approachable, somewhat catchy to put a video with and release as a single later, but where this band is really scoring with are the songs that are going a bit deeper. Sure, they mention the praise of Roger Waters and it makes sense as the song structures could be inspired by the work of Pink Floyd.
When songs like “Long May Your Run” or “All I Wanted “ are on the play it is obvious that there is plenty within these bands and they know exactly how to get the best qualities of each of the three members come out best. The music is rich in the way it’s been made, the band knows how to make their sound come out as filled as it is with just a trio playing it.
It is clear that this is an album that many Prog lovers will appreciate. Especially those who are embracing the 70’s sound will really adore it. And album that jumps out well of the mass.
