Bobaflex is an American metal band from Point Pleasant, West Virginia. They were part of Gigantour in 2005 and Rock on the Range in 2008 and 2012. Bobaflex is known as one of the hardest working bands in the country. Renowned for their high energy, live shows and relentless touring the band was formed in 1998 by brothers Shaun and Marty McCoy. The brothers are known for their ancestral ties to the most infamous family feud in American history between the Hatfield and McCoy.
The interest of the feud has spurred of late a mini-series, many documentaries and an upcoming modern day version series debuting this Fall. And they have also released a new album. Their now seventh full-length studio album is called “Anything That Moves”. Rough and loud the music comes blasting at you when pressing play. Edgy vocals and tough lyrics create a rough bar atmosphere where a fight could happen any time. The thirteen songs sum up to a total album duration of almost fifty minutes. The bonus edition comes with an additional three songs. “A Spider In The Dark” is the slowest song on the album, all other songs are fast and kicking ass. Somewhere between Monster Magnet and Motörhead you can find the sound of Bobaflex. An interesting mix that makes you want more. So go ahead and check out their brand new album “Anything That Moves”
