Spin My Fate is a German formation making some Alternative Rock. It has been quiet around the guys since the release of “The Acoustic Sessions” and a live tape but now the guys return with a new EP called “Here and Now”.
The EP starts with the title track. A calm start and then slowly gaining more energy and power. It has both the catchiness and the aggression in there, but does not get towards a too metal edge. The band then continues with the song “Away” which they had also in their acoustic album. It is a bit funky and playful. It certainly brings all in a happy mood. The third song on this release, “Patriot” has a much calmer feel. It’s the most pop one.
Three different songs, showing a unique side of the band. The versatility is there and leaves no question that they are bringing you an album that keeps you listening from the start to the end. The music listens easily and has quite a catchiness factor, which makes it one that keeps spinning.
“Here And Now” only has three songs, but leaves a taste for more. We probably have to wait a bit longer on it, but on the good news… the guys released a video for the song “Here And Now” which can be found here.
