Whitesnake is a rock band, formed in England in 1978 by David Coverdale after his departure from his previous band, Deep Purple. Their early material has been compared by critics to the blues rock of Deep Purple, but they slowly began moving toward a more commercially accessible rock style.

Now they have re-released a live album “Live in 1984 – Back To The Bone”. Coming with thirteen tracks this album this release is a special collection of their live tracks off the album “Slide It In”. A anniversary gift to their thirtieth album anniversary as well as a memoriam to the members. When pressing play on this album you can hear the audience going wild in the venue. Screaming, cheering clapping, singing along. This show must have been intense. So it is not very surprising that the band seemed to have enjoyed it just as much. The singer David Coverdale is thanking the audience, talking to them and playing with his voice. The music is tight and there are quite some solos on these songs. A very memorable and exciting time travel back to 1984. For those of you that are more the visual type, this release is also available as DVD. “Live in 1984 – Back To The Bone” is now available.
