From Hell is formed in 2010 but so far the band did not really come with a release. In the beginning of 2014 they brought “Ascent From Hell” on the market. This got picket up and distributed a bit more now.
Thrash/Death with a raw edge. Not much of finelining can be found in it, it’s wild and outburst of energy, not always channelled in a logical way, which makes the album quite messy. Yet don’t let yourself be misled, this band is not having small names on board, perhaps a supergroup could be a name for it, but does it justify the un-coordinated mess we get in front of us. Let’s look at individually then. Some great guitar parts are there, forming the base of it all, but the way it comes together with the rest of the band seems so strange. Does not really strengthen each other. It is like each individual did his part based on an idea and it has been thrown together without making adjustments to come together at all. So in fact it is the story that is leading, but are the words really coming across?
I think that From Hell does not really got the max out of it. “Ascent From Hell” sound as something they quickly did in between, but not like something they put a lot of dedication in.
