Mongo Ninja is a Norwegian band. The band makes humor based Trash/Punk/Metal and they seem to have to idea about the word writers block. After releasing their debut album in at the end of 2009, they are now up for their second full length release of 2010 “Nocturnal Neanderthals”.
And wondering where the band got their inspiration from, a look at their song titles will help you out. “Fuckher”, “Victim #13”, “Relationshit” etc. Good so if you can’t deal with rudeness, stop reading straight away. Mongo Ninja is a band that feels like starting a riot with setting a punk atmosphere with some more aggressive vocals. Instrumentally they are not inventing the world, but found inspiration at the larger ones in music history. This seems to make this band a perfect on to see on a festival with a glass of beer in your hand. When you look at it musically it is a typical album for fans of Slayer and Motörhead. The fifteen songs counting “Nocturnal Neanderthals” may probably not entertain everyone. Humor is, next to the taste of music very subjective, which makes it hard to scale. Probably not one that gets many plays for its greatness in music, but as a party album it does quite well.
