Revolverheld is a German rock band from Hamburg, Germany, formed in 2003. Originally named “Manga” and was founded in summer 2003 in Hamburg. In 2004 they renamed the band to “Tsunamikiller” and then afterwards decided upon the name “Revolverheld” after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. This is their third album called “In Farbe”.

Revolverheld is back. After three years they are now releasing a new album. As usual all lyrics are in German. The album begins with a fast and catchy song, continues with a slower one, and continues with this back and forth between fast and slow. All lyrics are in German and the music is quite mainstream, written to be liked and to be stuck in your head for a while. “Immer Einen Grund Zu Feiern” (always a reason to party) is a party song that definitely gets you dance along. The sound of this song is very colorful. So is the entire album, it mostly spreads a good mood. The songs are mostly positive, only a few are a little bit deeper and slightly sad. “Um Unser Leben” has some rap elements in it as well as very harsh rock guitar riffs in between. The album layout is very colorful and nice to look at. Revolverheld is back and will be touring through Germany soon with their new album. Give them a chance and check them out.
