Pos.:2 – Circuits

Pos.:2 is an Electro Pop band that released a debut album about a year ago. Now they are back with a new one. It is called “Circuits” and it is out now.

Sure the Electropop of these guys is pleasant and catchy to listen to, but the first songs seem to be a bit too simply thought of. Maybe here and there it could have been made a bit smoother, the vocals to be smoothened and the music a little more elaborated to give it just that bit more depth. We ‘re not hoping for jazz/prog depth, but a bit more helps to keep your attention with it much longer.
Some German songs are passing by and they are often an interesting mix with the English ones, but we liked the international touch from the English ones more. The guys could get people dancing far over the German speaking countries’ borders. The idea the guys have behind it is interesting enough, but as an whole album it just becomes a bit too much.
All the guys have to do is just to work a bit on the diversity by creating that depth and they are good on their way. The catchiness is there, we could see this totally work out.
