Minipax is a German punk rock band that was founded two years back. The debut EP “1984” is inspired by the book of George Orwell. And just like that book, the debut EP of Minipax is about politics and the current situation with a sneak peak of what it might lead to.

The EP comes with only five songs of which one is a bonus track. So a really short pleasure. But Minipax get every bit out of the short EP. With rough and fast songs, the band grabs your fullest attention and will not let go until the music is over. The lyrics are in German and the topics are taken out of everyday life. Mainly inspired by the politics and the reactions of society. Each song is absolutely passionate and filled with energy. With a fast rhythm, Minipax is pushing you through the album. Fast and never stopping, the Germans are keeping up the pace. Infecting you with their energy. Fifteen minutes of pure passion and thriving energy.

“1984” is the first release of Minipax. So there will be more to come. Until then, enjoy this five track EP by the German punk rock band and let them take you away.
