No:carrier is a making Electro Noire Pop. The band released their album called: “Wisdom & Failure” more than a year ago and is now back with a new EP called “Ghost of The West Coast” under the name of No:carrier and friends.

Four tracks, four covers, four vocalists. We are rarely happy to see a release completely filled with covers as the majority of them does not give an insight of what a band themselves is about. The first track on this release is “The Boys of Summer”. If we get a coin for each cover we hear of it we would be substantially richer than we are now. Most of them are hardly any different so scepticism was all over us when hearing this song, but that is when you realize that good music is beautiful for the way you can get surprised. No:carrier completely undressed the song and made something completely different from it. Kalic DuArte is featered as a vocalist and it surely became a pleasant song that could as well be something completely of their own. Now that brings hope for the rest and that hope turns into a grant of three more songs that have been approached the same way. Taking just some elements from it and completely make it their own.

So this release is a true surprise, something familiar but a lot of new to it. A good one to get your hands on!
